Overview
We have one of the most experienced groups in the region in the formation and operation of common interest communities. This includes condominiums, planned communities and cooperatives. We have formed hundreds of common interest communities in urban areas along the Front Range and within resort communities throughout the Rocky Mountain Region and nationally. We have worked on behalf of builders and developers of the following communities:
- Residential
- Commercial
- Mixed-use
Diverse Representation: Our attorneys represent a full range of clients in this area, from small entrepreneurial townhome and loft developers to national and international large scale developers. We have assisted these larger developers with planned communities, town centers, residential and mixed-use towers, and other mixed-use projects that contain various disparate products and uses.
Creative Approaches: We specialize in creative approaches to form these communities. We advise developers from formation through sell out in how to properly operate owners associations. We have undertaken a great number of condominium conversions, and several reversions (or “repartments“) back to apartment ownership. The team has also represented clients in the areas of timeshares and fractional interest ownerships.
Experienced Resource: Our Common Interest Community Team has insightful experience and has become an informal legal resource for other professionals in this often esoteric area of the law, including title companies, surveyors, engineers, brokers, and lenders.
