A veteran venture capital investor, Peter advises growth-stage businesses throughout the financial and legal life cycle. With more than three decades of capital markets experience, Peter has handled hundreds of deals on both the buy and sell sides. He offers clients practical counsel based on many years of experience as an adviser, lawyer, and strategist to privately held companies.
Peter often works with his clients through multiple financing rounds, helping them strategize and implement capital and growth strategies, and ultimately assisting with a sale or other liquidity event. Peter represents clients in Colorado and throughout the United States.
Peter has a national reputation as a principal investor and venture capitalist. He played an instrumental role in launching the globally recognized venture capital firm Altira Group, initially as its outside general counsel and later as a partner and principal investor. He has developed a widespread network of contacts and has frequently been a speaker at venture capital seminars and conferences throughout the United States.
Peter is outside General Counsel to the Arkansas River Power Association. He also serves as a member of the firm's Executive Committee.
