Wheat Ridge City Council recently discussed the status of eight priorities set out in the February 20, 2021, strategic planning retreat. One noteworthy priority is the implementation of bulk plane regulations in all residential zone districts, which is set to be heard publicly for the second time on August 8, 2022. Another priority involves a review of the Commercial Corridor Code to determine additional tools and resources that should be considered to help the City’s commercial corridors grow. This will be handled later in the fourth quarter of 2022.
