The Mayor and Board of Trustees of Fairplay held a public hearing on July 18 and determined that they should approve Ordinance No. 9 Series 2022, an Ordinance amending Chapter 18 of the Fairplay Municipal Code, and the International Residential Code, concerning frost line depth. In order to better protect the public and new constructed buildings’ health and safety, the town has decided to increase the frost line depth from 24 inches to 44 inches.
