Denver, CO, March 26, 2013--- Fairfield and Woods Attorney Jason B. Robinson, a trial attorney whose practice focuses primarily on complex commercial and environmental litigation, was recently named to the Board of Directors for Swallow Hill Music (SHM). SHM is one of the largest non-profit organizations in the United States to serve as a source for roots, folk and acoustic music.
Robinson expressed an interest in joining the SHM Board of Directors after participating in the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts’ 2012–2013 Leadership Arts program. Robinson recently commented on why he sought to serve on SHM’s Board of Directors: “In light of the profound impact music has had on my life, as well as my desire to help others discover or otherwise rekindle their own love of music, SHM’s Board of Directors was the logical choice for me to pursue in light of its mission and vision.”
SHM serves more than 120,000 people through its concerts, school and outreach programming. In addition to providing music education to over 5,000 students for instruments and interests of all kinds, SHM also reaches over 15,000 students through educational K-12 outreach programs in schools across the Front Range. Furthermore, SHM presents and promotes hundreds of musical performances throughout the year featuring local, national, and international talent. These performances take place at a variety of venues, such as SHM’s facility on 71 East Yale Avenue as well as the the Denver Botanic Gardens as part of its longstanding Summer Concert Series.
