Denver, Co, April 8, 2015—Fairfield and Woods’ Gil B. Selinger, a corporate attorney, was recently named to the Meritas Young Lawyer Advisory Board. Meritas is an international alliance of commercial law firms working across jurisdictions to provide clients the best of both worlds.
Gil’s board service officially begins in conjunction with the Meritas Global Annual Meeting, which will be held in Denver, Wednesday, April 15- Friday, April 17, 2015 at The Westin Denver Downtown.
Gil counsels clients on a wide range of business transactions and legal matters. Gil's practice focuses primarily on securities law, small businesses, and mergers and acquisitions. Gil has represented individual and institutional investors, as well as issuers in a myriad of equity, debt and exchange offerings, small and large private placements, and other corporate finance transactions. His selection to the board was based on feedback from his Meritas peers, as well as Meritas headquarters and regional staff, with consideration given to ensuring the board reflects the global nature of the program.
The Young Lawyer Liaison Program’s objective is to offer young lawyers a peer contact at each member firm to act as an entry point to the respective firm and the firm’s market.
