Bio
Paul is a commercial litigator and trusted advisor who helps his clients navigate the litigation process from pre-suit investigations to appeals. He identifies and executes creative solutions for clients in industries including transportation, healthcare, construction, railroad, oil and gas, business services, and recreation as well as individuals, families, nonprofits, and government entities. He has drafted, argued, and won dispositive motions in state and federal courts and has considerable experience resolving matters through alternative dispute resolution.
Paul served as a law clerk to now-Chief Justice Nathan B. Coats at the Colorado Supreme Court before pursuing a career as a civil litigator. His trial advocacy skills are rooted in his background as a musician, university instructor, and collegiate speech and debate coach. He continues to inspire the next generation of future lawyers as a volunteer high school mock trial coach.
