Conner works with developers, buyers and sellers, tenants and landlords, and lenders and borrowers to understand and execute their business or real estate goals. Whether representing small businesses or publicly traded companies, Conner monitors his clients’ legal risks and advises accordingly. A deal-maker at heart, Conner also partners with clients throughout their projects, offering insights on legal, marketing, and business plans alike.
Conner is adept at interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for real estate transactions, and can use that knowledge to better draft and negotiate his clients’ real estate transactions. Conner can easily draft routine leases and amendments, and is able to support legal and general advisory needs associated with large-scale real estate portfolios. Conner can also manage regulatory and compliance-related services, and ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before real estate transactions are executed.
Conner has strong experience in real estate law and industry knowledge that includes corporate leases, 1031 exchanges, property management, mineral interests, purchase and sale transactions, and litigation. Conner also regularly engages title insurance companies on his client’s behalf, including conducting title and survey reviews, and initiating curative measures. Additionally, Conner is able to assist his clients as they navigate Colorado’s foreclosure process.
Conner’s passion for Colorado’s microbrewery industry has allowed him to use his corporate experience to help his clients form and finance their business entities, and he enjoys counseling his clients on their operational matters, mergers and acquisitions, and preparing and negotiating contracts and related documents. His focus in this work is on minimizing clients’ liabilities, and serving as a trusted outside advisor as their businesses grow.
