Beth Ann resolves water and environmental disputes for her clients. As a fifth-generation Colorado native with a ranching background, Beth Ann understands the complex issues her clients face, and she focuses on finding solutions that minimize disruption to their day-to-day businesses.
With nearly two decades of experience representing individual landowners and privately held companies, Beth Ann handles a full range of water rights and water quality matters. She has experience securing surface and underground water rights, opposing water rights filings, augmentation plans, and exchanges. Beth Ann regularly represents clients before the state’s water courts, the Colorado Supreme Court, and Colorado Court of Appeals, and she excels at negotiating the right solutions for her clients. And, when necessary, she is also well-versed in representing her clients in trials and appeals.
In addition to her work handling water disputes, Beth Ann also helps clients with real property, contract, and environmental matters. Her experience includes drafting easements, evaluating contracts, and assisting clients with water issues in real estate development projects. Whether in a transaction or litigation, Beth Ann roots her practice in the work ethic she developed on her family’s ranch and while completing a judicial clerkship after law school with the Honorable Rebecca Love Kourlis of the Colorado Supreme Court.
