Fairfield and Woods Attorney Recognized for 50 Years of Practicing Law

Denver, Colo. (July 7, 2010) - The Colorado Bar Association recently honored 13 Colorado attorneys that have been practicing law for 50 years. Charles F. Brega, a director in the litigation department at Fairfield and Woods, P.C. was one of the awardees.

Brega has tried more than 400 civil and criminal cases in state and federal courts and before arbitration panels. He has also taught trial strategy and techniques in addition to negotiation and settlement skills to attorneys in the United States and abroad. Brega has handled hundreds of security cases in courts and before arbitration panels and training employees of broker dealers on security matters.

Brega is a member and past president of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, a member of the American Law Institute, International Society of Barristers (limited to 500 lawyers worldwide), also International Academy of Trial Lawyers (limited to 500 lawyers worldwide; membership by peer invitation only) and a past Board of Governors of the American Trial Lawyers Association. He is recognized by Best Lawyers in Colorado every year since its inception; Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the West, Who's Who in Colorado and has been designated as a Colorado Super Lawyer every year and in 2009 as a Super Lawyer Corporate Counsel. In 2009 Brega was advised that he has been one of 1397 Attorneys in the U.S. who has been listed in Best Lawyer in America since its 1st publication in 1983.
