Bio

Anna works closely with clients to create customized solutions for their nonprofit, succession planning, and trust administration needs. As a trusted advisor to her clients, Anna helps them solve problems from operating and establishing tax-exempt organizations to providing strategies for trust modifications and mergers. 

Whether counseling clients in advanced trust planning and gifting agreements or strategizing on the modification of a nonprofit entity, Anna provides thorough, strategic advice for each client. When counseling nonprofit organizations, Anna handles initial exemption applications, governance documents, and charitable operations. Her recent experience includes helping a nonprofit client evaluate a range of options for creating a subsidiary foundation, and helping a corporate client create a foundation to benefit its employees and its community.   

Her trusts and estates practice includes all aspects of advanced planning gift agreements. She regularly works with tax and financial planning advisors to create a holistic plan for each client’s needs. Anna counsels clients regarding intra-family gifting and loan agreements; prepares gift and estate tax returns; provides analysis and strategy for trust mergers and decanting; and provides various research related to beneficiary rights, fiduciary duties, domicile, foreign national and trust taxation rules.

Anna provides comprehensive estate planning counsel for each of her client’s particular needs.  She additionally advises clients through the entire estate administration process, from simple probate estates to complex, taxable, multi-trust and blended family estates.
