A technology client was faced with a litigation case when a large deal in California went bad. The amount of money at stake was quite large. Our client was a U.S. citizen that lived in China and was married to a Chinese citizen. He and his wife needed to draw up estate documents. The couples' assets were primarily in China, but some assets were held in the United States. This complicated situation was compounded by the couple's adoption of a Chinese daughter.
